Seasonal Winemaking Assistant

Southwest Mountains Vineyards is a family-owned winery seeking a Seasonal Winemaking Assistant for our annual grape harvest. As an emerging wine region, Virginia offers the opportunity to network with other local winemakers who continually strive to raise the bar for Virginia wines.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receiving, cleaning, preparing, racking, filling, and topping barrels.
• Monitoring fermentation progress, making necessary adjustments, and performing other tasks as required.
• Working closely with the cellar manager to ensure the smooth operation of winery activities.
• Performing basic equipment and building maintenance.
