What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pet Hospital Front Desk Coordinator position at Southwest Pet Hospital?
Southwest Pet Hospital is a fast paced, small animal practice that is accepting applications for Customer Service / Receptionist. Applicants should be friendly, outgoing, have a neat and professional appearance, and MUST be a team player! Available shifts may fall on days/early evenings, Saturdays, and some Holidays. Experience is greatly preferred, but we are willing to train the right person with a great attitude who is a quick learner on multi-line phones and computer systems. Position could be made into PT or FT, depending on experience and availability. Salary commensurate with experience and skill. Some cross training will be required so that new employees get a good overview of the practice.
Must be able to pass a background check and drug test. A face to face interview and working interview will be required in the interview process.
Duties include:
- Welcome clients and their pets as they enter the clinic making a positive impression
- Organize and process the clients check-in/check-outs.
- Answer in-coming phone calls, listen and respond to voicemails, respond to emails, all in a timely problem-solving manner
- Complete cashier and point of sale operations; able to communicate with leaving and in-coming staff, peers, and leadership
- Maintain cleanliness of the entranceway and lobby including the restrooms
- Liaison to veterinary service team; veterinary appointment status and arrivals.

Qualifications
