Position Summary
Assists the Principal in implementing the philosophy, policies, and procedures of SWPREP and Southwest Winners Foundation
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Plays a primary leadership role in enrolling new students and maintaining positive student behavior on the campus
- Documents policy violations and initiates court proceedings when required
- Manages ISS and alternative education programs
- Monitors student progress
- Assist in the development of behavioral management strategies to identify, address, resolve, and document student positive and negative behavioral trends
- Reports disciplinary incidents into PEIMS
- Keeps parents/guardians informed, telephonically or by correspondence, of student’s inappropriate behavior or exemplary performance
- Maintains positive and effective front office activities and effective communication with students and parents
- Serves as campus testing coordinator at the campus level
- Monitors tardiness and attendance issues and designs and implements strategies and policies to decrease occurrences
- Assists with safety inspections and safety drills
- Assists in providing appropriate professional development for faculty and staff
- Substitutes for the principal as required
- Observes and insists that others observe professional ethical standards in accordance with generally accepted community standards and the Texas Educators Code of Ethics
Minor Job Duties and Responsibilities
Accepts and completes other duties as assigned by the principal or by the superintendent

Light to moderate lifting is required. Regular, predictable attendance is required. Noise level is consistently moderate but can be heavy during athletic activities, passing periods, and lunchtimes.
