Objectives of this Role:
- Support the organization's mission by collaborating with Hiring Managers on their specific hiring needs and technical expertise.
- Facilitate a positive candidate experience by working with the Employment Operations department in a full-cycle recruiting environment.
- Stay informed on market trends, certifications, and channels for recruitment within the skilled trades industries.
- Continuously expand your knowledge in several areas: employment law, compliance, talent acquisition, and HR practices.
- Intentionally and purposefully guide candidates through the hiring process, from initial contact to onboarding.
- Review applications submitted by job seekers, conduct in-depth technical interviews, participate in nation-wide College Recruiting events, and frequently engage with hiring managers.
- Attend community events dedicated towards meeting with local talent. Travel via flights during our "Spring" and "Fall" recruiting seasons is required. Several trips each season are necessary to maintain our robust early talent and college recruiting program.
- Be dedicated in learning the technical division's areas of growth and project-work.
- Develop a pipeline to build and maintain a network of contacts for future hiring needs; Monster, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.
- Requires a Bachelors degree in Business with an HR Concentration, Human Resources, or directly related with related experience.
- PHR or SHRM is preferred but must be interested in acquiring professional HR certifications in the future.
- 1 years: Recruiting experience that includes interviewing candidates, developing strategies alongside hiring managers to establish candidate pools, and general Recruitment practices.
- Must have a strong desire to frequently interface with job seekers, hiring managers, new hires, and other HR professionals in the department.
- Must have an interest in participating in multiple career fairs and initiating special programs to enhance the current recruitment practices. Must be willing, if unfamiliar with HR employment regulations, to display a strong acumen for learning regulations, HR policies, and law
- Must thrive in a collaborative team environment with strong interpersonal skills.
- A valid/clear driver's license is required.
