Role
Objectives of this Role:
- To ensure and improve the quality control, compliance and efficiency of petroleum products in the automotive industry.
- Assist in preparing a high volume of samples for testing in the Fuels Laboratory.
- Prepare gasoline samples for GC analysis by weight/volume using an analytical balance, pipette and glassware.
- Assist in splitting and organizing gasoline samples, washing glassware, cleaning laboratory work areas and disposing of spent gasoline and chemicals.
- Assist in maintaining laboratory stock by retrieving supplies from an on-site stockroom.
- Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Chemistry courses helpful.
- 0-2 years years: Related work experience of working in a laboratory.
- Must be able to adhere to all safety requirements
- Must be available to work shift work and overtime when needed and good attendance is required.
- General computer experience is required.
- A valid/clear driver's license is required.
