What are the responsibilities and job description for the SWAGE Shoulder Loader position at Southwest Steel Processing LLC?
1.
Swage and punch each product to print specifications.
2.
Maintain quality standards by spot inspection of finished product.
3.
Operate 1000 ton press according to written work instructions.
4.
Preform simple maintenance functions on press per written work instructions.
5.
Load heater with correct tie plates according to part requirements.
6.
Load hot plates into press per written work instructions.
7.
Remove parts from press per written work instructions.
8.
Remove bins of parts when full and replace with empty bin.
9.
Use fork truck to maintain supply of raw material at the heater.
10.
Clean area around press as needed and keep slugs free of press.
11.
Fill in on press crew as needed.
12.
Change out dies as needed for production.
13.
Observe all safety rules and guidelines.
14.
All other duties assigned.
