Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled, dependable, and qualified Maintenance Technician to join our team. Under the direction of the Maintenance Lead, is responsible for the repair and maintenance of all Production machines and resolving all maintenance issues in a prompt manner.
Job Duties:
- Repair production equipment, mechanical and electrical
- Check maintenance notes daily, and record into data base
- Daily press inspection
- Stay in contact with Supervisor
- Keep up with maintenance inventory
- Daily look at the pit to make sure it is controlled
- Schedule maintenance around production
- Hands on
- Keep Supervisor informed at all times
- Make sure all safety (PPE) is being used properly
- Be on call as needed
- Willing to work off shift if necessary
- Any other mechanical items deemed necessary
- *Other duties as assigned. *
What you need to be successful:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Valid Drivers License
- Ability to stand, bend walk and drive forklift throughout the day
- Withstand high temperatures for a long period of time
- Be able to life or move at least 50lbs
- All work is performed at the Warehouse or Forge. The employee is not directly in the weather however weather is a factor.
