Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Surgical Technician Coordinator located in El Paso, TX. The Surgical Technician Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating surgical technology activities in the operating room, assisting in surgical procedures, maintaining sterilization standards, and supporting medical staff in surgical assisting.
Key Responsibilities :
- Clinical Oversight : Provide on-site supervision and guidance to surgical technology students during their clinical rotations.
- Evaluate students' performance, ensuring they meet the required clinical competencies set by the program.
- Competency Evaluation : Monitor and assess students' progress in clinical settings to ensure they are meeting program competencies and learning objectives.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to facilitate their professional growth.
- Relationship Building : Serve as the face of Southwest University during interactions with hospitals and clinics.
- Foster positive relationships with clinical partners to enhance collaboration and maintain a strong reputation.
