Duties (include but are not limited to): Demonstrates knowledge of subject(s) through instructional practices Familiarity with Common Core curriculum standardsAbility to teach to a wide range of ability levels and learning stylesKnowledge in Basic Math through Pre-CalculusGuide the learning process toward the achievement of learning goals Use assessment information to provide students with feedback, which is corrective and informative Establish and maintain standards of student behavior conducive to an effective learning environment Develop written lesson plans in advance Direct and supervise the work of paraprofessionals, volunteers and student teachers assigned to the classroomMaintain productive lines of communication with students, parents, and colleagues concerning both the academic and social progress of all studentsImplement administrative directives in a professional manner (re: new programs and policies)Adhere to all District policies and regulations
