New Day Recovery Program Coordinator (Tazewell)
Job Overview:
Come work full time for a Substance Use Disorder recovery program that provides comprehensive care with therapy, case management, and MOUD/MAUD services. Work 10 hours Monday-Thursday and enjoy 3 day weekends. The position provides clerical support, site management, patient reception, scheduling and behavioral health support for patients & families impacted by substance use disorder.
Southwest Virginia Community Health Systems (SVCHS) consists of a group of non-profit Community Healthcare Centers, a Migrant Health Network, an Integrative Behavioral Healthcare Program, a Substance Abuse Recovery Program, and the Southwest Virginia Regional Dental Center. Duties:
- Provide clerical support for the treatment team–including patient scheduling, reception, and management of the site.
– Develop and maintain accurate and detailed records of client treatment, including progress notes and medical records.
– Participate in case conferences and team meetings to discuss client progress and develop strategies for ongoing support.
Skills:
– Experience in data collection and analysis, including the use of electronic health records.
– Experience in medical records and diagnostic evaluations.
– Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
– Ability to inhale and tolerate the odors and environments of working with clients with Substance Use Disorder
