Job Description

Southwest Contemporary Women's Care has an opening for a part - time ( Full- time Conversion is possible)Bone Densitometry Technologist. Benefits available include Medical, Dental and Vision, Paid Holidays, Progressive Paid Time Off, Paid Uniforms and 401k . Our Tempe office houses our Mammography and DXA services. Hourly range : varies depending on experience and licensing.

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION :

Under supervision and in a professional and friendly manner, performs all assigned Mammography and Bone Density tasks with the highest level of customer service. Maintain professional appearance and businesslike behavior with all staff and clientele. Perform quality mammographic images and quality bone density scans based on protocols set forth within department guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB :

Education :

Current Radiologic Technologist license
Current CPR Certification
Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)

Experience :

Minimum 2 years bone density exposure preferred, but not required

Electronic Medical Records exposure preferred, but not required

KEY COMPETENCIES :

Ability to understand provider orders and ensure that the order contains all required information, and questions discrepancies prior to procedure .

Capable of completing imaging scans, re-analysis, archiving, distributing, and forwarding to referring providers through the integrated EMR system, Medical Records and PACS

Use independent judgment and necessary skills to obtain high quality images in accordance w / ARRT standards
