Sales and Marketing Summer Internship

Southwestern Advantage seeks motivated and passionate college students of all majors that want to gain the personal and professional skills they need for any career path. In this outside sales internship students will learn how to run their own small business, be effective in creating relationships with consumers, and gain valuable skills. Students will have the opportunity to travel to another state and will receive over 100 hours of professional sales, leadership, and marketing training. The average student will make $10,000 dollars over the summer but top first-year performers make up to $25,000. The ideal candidate will take over the following responsibilities and have these qualifications

Responsibilities

• Students will be engaged in consultative sales

• Communicating with anywhere with 2 to 5,000 families with all economic backgrounds

• Create relationships and build rapport with customers

• Direct sales of educational products

• Students will execute all ordering, inventory, sales, accounting, scheduling, and delivery of product

Qualifications

• Available during summer break
• Independent decision maker
• Willing to be coachable, develop positive work habits
• Strong work ethic
• Willing to relocate and frequently travel

• Nightly Stat Calls with leaders to help improve performance
• Weekly 1-on-1 conferences with Sales Leaders to help improve performance
