We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual to join our team as the Healthy Families Program Manager. In this role, you will lead a team, collaborate with community organizations, ensure program compliance, and work closely with Healthy Families Indiana. Your leadership will be key in providing support to families and ensuring the safety and well-being of children in our community.

WHAT IS THIS POSITION RESPONSIBLE FOR?
- Act as the Program Manager for Healthy Families (HF).
- Recruit from the community, maintain and work with a Healthy Families Advisory Committee to assure optimal program operation.
- Orient, schedule, and direct the activities of up to five (5) Healthy Families Supervisors as guided by the HF critical elements.
- Review and evaluate staff. Recommend personnel actions as needed.
- Function as a primary liaison to Healthy Families Indiana (HFI)
- Perform regular case review to ensure that situations, which present "imminent or threatened" harm to a child, are referred to Child Protective Services.
- Explore and pursue potential collaborative relationships with other community organizations and agencies.
- Coordinate existing collaborative relationships to ensure maximum use of services by enrolled families.
- Ensure compliance with all Healthy Families America (HFA) credential requirements.
- Obtain/maintain CPR, First Aid if desired.
- Other duties as assigned by the Board of Directors or CEO.
Job Qualifications
WHAT'S REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION?
- Master's degree in Human Services or a field closely related to working with children and families.
- Must possess a solid understanding of or experience in supervising diverse staff with humility, as well as providing support to staff in stressful work environments.
- Must have administrative experience in human service or related field including experience in quality assurance and continuous quality improvement.
- Proficient in employee and operations management, program operation, family-centered and strength-based family services, ethical and legal aspects/requirements of child abuse and neglect.
- Must have superior supervisory and interpersonal skills and willingness to engage in building reflective practice.
- Must have valid driver's license and qualify for Company's vehicle liability insurance.
- Candidates must pass required background checks including county/state checks, fingerprinting, CPS check, sex offender registry check, and drug screen.
