Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare is currently seeking a Full-Time 3rd Shift Mental Health Technician to add to our team of professionals. This position will work in our Supervised Group Living and/or residential dual diagnosis program for adults. Starting pay is $16.00 hourly with a $1.00 shift differential.

WHAT IS THIS POSITION RESPONSIBLE FOR?
- Mental Health Technicians work in a residential setting with individuals who have severe and persistent mental illness and/or substance use disorder to assist in developing recovery and independent living skills.
- We utilize a person centered approach to help residents reach their recovery goals.
- Mental Health Technicians are not responsible for hands-on care.
- We offer an individualized orientation program to help you learn how to effectively work with our residents that must be completed within six months of hire.
WHAT'S REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION?
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience working with individuals having psychiatric conditions desirable.
- Work schedule: 40 hours per week Full time schedule 3rd shift 11:00 pm - 7:00 am
- Demonstrated proficiency with interpersonal and writing skills.
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Must have valid driver's license and qualify for Company's vehicle liability insurance.
- Candidates must pass required background checks including county/state checks, sex offender registry check, and drug screen.
