Come join our new and innovative Mobile Crisis Team! Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare is currently seeking Part-Time Peer Support Specialists for all shifts.
Hourly rate for Crisis Service Peer Support Specialist with NO Certification = $16/Hour
Hourly rate for Crisis Service Peer Support Specialist with Certification by DMHA as a Certified Peer = $17/hour

WHAT IS THIS POSITION RESPONSIBLE FOR?
- Peer Recovery services, which include but are not limited to crisis intervention, community outreach and engagement.
- Assist clients in articulating personal goals for recovery and determining treatment objectives.
- Observe the progress clients make toward meeting objectives and provide feedback to client and treatment providers.
- Use personal life experiences as a recipient of services to model recovery and establish trusting relationships with clients.
- Collaborate with the team to support a culture where experiences and preferences are recognized, understood, and respected.
WHAT'S REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION?
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certification as a Community Health Worker/Recovery Specialist required.
- Work Schedule: Availability for any shift including weekends.
- Demonstrated proficiency with interpersonal and writing skills.
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Must have valid driver's license, auto insurance that meets the Indiana State minimum coverage requirement and qualify for Company's vehicle liability insurance.
- Candidates must pass required background checks including county/state checks and drug screen.
