Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare's Child & Family Services Division is currently seeking a full-time community based Family Preservation Child and Family Skills Coach to add to our team of professionals. This position will provide case management, skills training/development, and other services to children and their families.
We are offering a $3500 sign-on bonus, half paid at 90 days and half paid at 180 days.

WHAT IS THIS POSITION RESPONSIBLE FOR?
- Provide community-based case management, skills training/development, and other services to children and their families.
- Case management includes but is not limited to communicating with all parties involved in the individual/family's treatment; identifying treatment needs and facilitating all necessary referrals; coordinating and attending collateral meetings with all parties involved in the treatment process.
- Conduct family, individual and group counseling to youth and families.
- Provide emergency counseling and crisis intervention when necessary.
- Maintain appropriate records of services to reflect patient progress and document treatment plans and goals.
- Must meet efficiency standard which include chart management, patient contact and daily production standards.
- Participate in regular staff meetings and ongoing staff training/development activities.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct consultation and education activities to community and professional groups as needed.
- Maintain contact with other service providers, community agencies, schools and civic organizations to enhance community awareness and public relations.
WHAT'S REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION?
- Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Criminal Justice or other related degrees.
- Experience working with children who have serious emotional disturbances is preferable.
- Must possess the ability to assess emergency situations and react in an appropriate and therapeutic manner
- Must have a valid driver's license, auto insurance that meets the Indiana State minimum coverage requirement, and qualify for Company's vehicle liability insurance. This position requires daily travel throughout the 4 counties we serve.
- Candidates must pass required background checks including county/state checks, fingerprinting, CPS check, sex offender registry check, and drug screen.
