WHAT IS THIS POSITION RESPONSIBLE FOR?
- Provide on-shift orientation to new Peer Support staff
- Provide ongoing training and staff development for addiction services team
- Review and complete SmartCare competency with new Peer Support staff
- Provide individual and/or group supervision meeting for CPSP staff and those pursuing certification
- Inform Addiction Services leadership of Peer Support staff performance and seek direction as needed
- Attend Leadership meetings/activities as scheduled
- Attend weekly addiction services leadership meetings to inform program development
OTHER ACTIVITIES:
- Assists with supply orders for facility and/or programming
- Assists with residential scheduling of staff, staff duties, and daily client schedule
- Monitors client's use of services, progress, and ongoing safety
- Utilize electronic medical record for clinical documentation
MINIMUM QUALIFACTIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Certification as a Certified Peer Support Professional (CPSP).
- At least two (2) years of professional experience as a Peer Support Professional.
- Possess Certification as a Certified Crisis Peer Supervisor.
- Must be at least 21 years of age and maintain a valid driver's license.
- Obtain and maintain a verbal de-escalation and crisis intervention training.
