What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant position at Southwestern Cardiac Arrhythmia Institute?
Candidate will be responsible for performing various clinical duties such as greeting, scheduling, assisting physicians with patient care, and handling clerical and organizational tasks. Candidate should be detailed-oriented, teamwork driven, have a genuine desire to assist patients, and have EMR experience.
Qualifications :
- Medical Assistant Diploma from an accredited vocational institution or community college.
- Medical Assistant Certification required.
- Minimum of one year recent experience working in a medical facility and as a medical assistant and/or documented evidence of externship completed in a medical office.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Documentation of certification as a Medical Assistant.
- Maintain current CPR certification.
- BILINGUAL
- Traveling is required for this position
