Description
Position Summary:
- The LPN provides direct patient care by utilization of the nursing process in accordance with the established policies and procedures of Southwestern Medical Center
- Performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties within the scope of practice of a LPN according to the Oklahoma Nurse Practice Act
- Participates in the planning, implementing, and evaluating of nursing care
Qualifications
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
- Licensed Practice Nurse License issued by the State of Oklahoma or as part of a compact
- BLS with in 30 days of hire
- NIH Stroke (and obtains by end of Clinical Nursing Orientation)
- Oklahoma Rights & Responsibilities Certificate (Medical Treatment Laws Information Act) every 2 years (and obtains by end of Clinical Nursing Orientation)
