Southwestern University seeks candidates for the position of Assistant Men's & Women's Swimming & Diving Coach. This position will serve as the Assistant of the Men's & Women's Swimming & Diving Coach program and provide outstanding leadership in support for Southwestern University students. This individual may potentially teach ESS or Fitness and Recreation Activities (FRA) program. This is a 12-month, full-time, exempt position with benefits.

Primary Duties
- Provide skill instruction and conditioning work consistent with a high-performing NCAA Division III varsity athletic program.
- Recruit and retain highly talented athletes who also have the academic acumen to thrive at Southwestern University.
- Participate in fundraising activities to support program objectives.
- Comply with all University, conference, and NCAA policies, procedures, and by laws.
- Mentor University students by modeling professionalism and high moral standards.
- Support classroom excellence by utilizing all available University resources in support of students.
- Serve as an Administrator in Charge (AIC) of select University events.
- Participate on campus committees as requested.
- Instructor for ESS or FRA classes if qualified.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree
- Demonstrate success in coaching or competing at a highly competitive level.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid or willing to become certified with three months of hire.
- Knowledge, understanding, and acceptance of cultural differences and the diversity within the campus and community.
- Knowledge and experience in Collegiate or professional playing in the sport.
- Knowledge and experience in recruiting college-level varsity athletes.
