Southwestern Vermont Medical Center seeks a full-time Anesthesiologist Assistant or CRNA.
Under the supervision of an Anesthesiologist, the Anesthesiologist Assistant is responsible for administering anesthesia and anesthesia related care to SVMC patients.
Requirements:
- Master's degree as an Anesthesia Assistant from an accredited university or college required. OR Master's degree from accredited CRNA program.
- Prior clinical experience preferred.
- Ability to maintain valid AA license required. Knowledge of Society CCNAA laws, regulations, etc.
- Ability to maintain current Health Care Provider BLS verification required.
- Ability to effectively operate a variety of Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Meditech HIS software programs required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Acute Cardiac Life Support ACLS certification required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain valid Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification required.
- Ability to effectively operate all Anesthesia equipment required.
- Ability to consistently display professional, ethical, standards of care consistent with SVMC medical staff by-laws required.
- Knowledge of SNAP reporting system elements required.
