What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN Infusion Therapy position at Southwestern Vermont Health Care?

The Infusion Nurse in the Cancer Center is a Registered Nurse working under the direction of Physicians, mid-level providers, and management to provide care to patients receiving treatments including, but not limited to intravenous therapy, chemotherapy, non-oncology infusions & blood product administration. Our nurses blend skill, expertise and critical thinking with care, compassion and personal relationships to truly connect with their patients. Must have successfully completed (& maintains) the ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Provider course or a combined amount of experience and willing to complete ONS certification within a set timframe set by the manager. BSN preferred.
