What are the responsibilities and job description for the Speech Therapist (SLP)- Early Intervention position at Southwestern Vermont Health Care?
The Speech Therapist works in consultation with the referring provider. This position is responsible for evaluating, developing implementing, and documenting a plan of treatment for patients of all ages. In addition this position is responsible for clinical supervision of speech therapy students and rehabilitation aides.
Requirements: Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology and Clinical Competence Certification CCC from an accredited university or college required. Training in videoflouroscopy strongly desired. Prior speech language therapy experience preferred. Valid Vermont State Board of Education Speech Pathologist Language certification required. American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) certification required. Health Care Provider BLS Certification required with 90 days of hire.
