Transportation Ride Coordinator
We are looking for an Transportation Ride Coordinator to join our LIFT team! The Ride Coordinator oversees scheduling and dispatching rides for eligible clients, ensuring timely and reliable transportation. This role involves coordinating directly with clients and third-party payors, managing data entry for client, payor, and ride details, and tracking each ride's progress to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming ride requests, determine eligibility, and match with appropriate providers.
- Record intake details and communicate ride instructions for SWCAP LIFT clients.
- Schedule and monitor SWCAP LIFT drivers to ensure timely, accommodated service delivery.
- Initiate invoicing for each ride, maintain the transportation database, and prepare monthly ride reports.
- Serve as a backup driver as needed.
Previous Experience Required:
- Previous work experience with frail elders, people with disabilities, or people with special needs.
- Previous work experience with client database software.
- Previous work experience in a customer service setting.
Education Background Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
Required Licenses or Certifications:
- Valid driver's license with access to insured vehicle.
Other Requirements:
- Competency with Microsoft Office Suire of software.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to interpret process instructions in a variety of formats.
- Ability to problem solve within program requirements while satisfying client or payor needs.
- Ability to bend, squat, stand, stretch and lift weights up to 50 pounds without limitation to secure passengers in vehicles.
