Job Goal: To assist the faculty and staff in providing the best educational experience for the District students.Performance Responsibilities: Work under the direction of the classroom teacher and/or administration to meet theindividual needs of all students.To provide instructional assistance in selected skill areas.Collect data and implement behavior management programFollow lesson plans provided by the regular Teacher to create a cohesive and consistent learning experience for studentsManage the classroom effectively to encourage student participation, minimize distractions and maintain a positive learning environmentSupervise students in and out of the classroom, including in the halls, on the playground and in the cafeteriaProvide in-class and at-home assignments based on the available lesson planPerform other duties as requested by Building Principal
