Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher's Aide to support our educators in fostering a positive and engaging learning environment for students. The ideal candidate will assist in implementing lesson plans, managing classroom activities, and providing individualized support to students. This role is vital in promoting childhood development and enhancing the educational experience within our private school setting.
Responsibilities
1. Work under the direction of the classroom teacher and/or special education teacher to meet the
individual needs of all students.
2. To provide instructional assistance in selected skill areas.
3. Collect data and implement behavior management program for designated children.
4. Implement Positive Behavioral Intervention and Support (PBIS) plans for students.
5. Provide inclusionary support in classroom.
6. Participate in Professional Development/training as needed.
7. Provide support services and accommodations as recommended by related services personnel, therapist
and consultants.
8. Review and implement modifications and accommodations documented in student’s IEP.
9. Provide support to students requiring Assistive Technology to access the curriculum.
10. Performs other duties as requested by Building Principal or Director of Special Education.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.70 per hour
