Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. This role involves implementing engaging activities that promote early childhood development, ensuring that each child’s individual needs are met. The Preschool Teacher will play a crucial role in shaping the educational experiences of children aged 2-5 years, preparing them for future learning.
Duties
- Implement age-appropriate Montessori lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Implement behavior management strategies to support children's growth and address challenges effectively.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding their child’s progress and development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative curriculum materials and activities.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom space that reflects the children’s work and interests.
Skills
- Experience working with young children in an educational setting is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff.
- Experience or training in Montessori methods is preferred but not required.
- Ability to develop engaging curriculum that meets the developmental needs of preschoolers.
- Experience working with children who have disabilities or autism is a valuable asset.
- A nurturing attitude combined with patience and creativity in teaching approaches.
- Willingness to learn and implement Montessori philosophy and practices.
