Quality Improvement/Incentive Program Supervisor
Southwoods Health is currently hiring a Quality Improvement/Incentive Program Supervisor. This position focuses on continuous improvement initiatives (HEDIS measures), quality benchmarking, and the implementation of best practices to optimize quality outcomes. This position requires a mix of skills in quality improvement, performance tracking, and team management. This individual will actively collaborate with the quality director to identify areas needing improvement and will create and implement strategic plans to address them.
Responsibilities:
Dashboard and Performance Monitoring:
- Oversee the monitoring of insurance/program dashboards to ensure accurate, real-time reporting of performance metrics, and care gaps while also using Power BI to track internal performance metrics.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and scorecard results, identifying trends and areas needing attention.
Team Performance and Productivity:
- Ensure the productivity of team members by regularly assessing their progress, providing feedback, and coordinating team efforts.
- Work with leadership to set performance goals, track progress, and resolve any performance-related issues.
Education/Onboarding:
- Organize and coordinate educational programs for both office employees and physicians.
- Ensure topics are relevant to the quality incentive program, keeping up to date with healthcare trends and incentive program changes.
Data Collection and Submission:
- Manage the collection and submission of supplemental data in accordance with program requirements.
- Identify opportunities for streamlining data collection processes to increase efficiency.
Program Assessment and Improvement:
- Continuously assess the effectiveness of ongoing initiatives and interventions to determine if program objectives are being met.
- Provide feedback to leadership and stakeholders on the current status and propose recommendations for adjustments to improve outcomes.
- Make data-driven decisions to suggest improvements or optimizations to achieve annual goals.
Requirements:
Required
- Prior experience in a related role
- Excellent communication skills
- Good oral and written communication skills adequate for interpersonal communication and education presentations
- Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office products, with emphasis on Excel and PowerBI
Preferred
- Licensed Registered Nurse or experience in a related health field
- Health informatics experience
- Familiarity with third-party payer regulations
- Experience working with HEDIS data/data analytics
