Southwoods Health is hiring a Registrar float to work in Boardman, Ohio. Responsible to the Patient Registration department for the collection of demographics, insurance cards, clinical information, and collection of monies for the purpose of registering all types of patients. All while ensuring the quality of entries into the EMR.

Responsible to the Patient Registration department for the collection of demographics, insurance cards, clinical information, and collection of monies for the purpose of registering all types of patients. All while ensuring the quality of entries into the EMR.
Essential Duties:
- Responsible for the collection of demographic information, insurance cards, clinical information, and collection of monies for the purpose of registering all types of patients. All while ensuring the quality entries into the EMR.
- Print labels, forms, etc., for patient charts and assemble charts before appointment.
- Scan certain patient documentation into the system.
- Responsible to the customer for courteous, accurate, and timely service.
- Issue appropriate duplicate receipts when receiving payments by cash, check or credit cards directly from patients.
- Reconcile monies collected from anesthesia with payment log.
- Post and balance cash drawer to cash/checks/credit card payments.
- Gives reconciled payments, along with end of day balance sheet, first data report and transaction report to cash posters.
- Ensure all processes at responsible physician practice maintains compliance with all regulatory agencies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Training or courses in business office activities, computer skills, and medical terminology
- Effective communication skills, ability to problem solve
- Always maintain professional demeanor, strong ethical and moral principles
- Medical receptionist experience preferred
- Good typing and computer skills
Full-time. Monday-Friday, shift varies. No evenings or weekends.
