Unit Clerk Pre-Admission Testing
Southwoods Health is hiring a Unit Clerk to work in Pre-Admission Testing at The Surgical Hospital at Southwoods in Boardman, Ohio. Will support the workflow of physicians and clinical staff during pre-procedure visits and to assist in information gathering in order to optimize patient outcomes.
Essential Duties :
- Effectively schedules Pre-Admission Testing and Joint Academy appointments
- Communicates pertinent information to appropriate team members
- Communicates to physician offices in order to obtain patient information and results
- Accurately organizes charts per department protocol
- Appropriately directs incoming calls and fields questions effectively
- Prepares document packets to be distributed at the Pre-Admission Testing visit
- Assists in assessing patient charts for completeness prior to them leaving the department
- Ensure all processes at responsible physician practice maintains compliance with all regulatory agencies
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
Full-time. Monday-Friday 7 : 00am-3 : 30pm.
