Department/Unit Summary
Our community is growing and thriving. To better serve our community's growth, SOVAH Danville's Emergency Department is currently under renovation to provide enhanced care to our patients. The new Emergency Department will be a 31-bed unit with a 4:1 ratio for acute patients, featuring designated behavioral health safe rooms. Our Emergency Department provides care to patients across the lifespan for all medical emergencies. We are a designated Chest Pain Center & Certified Advanced Primary Stroke Center. We are an academic teaching site for residents, medical students, nurses, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, and physician assistants.
