Qualifications:
- A current VA (or Multi-state) RN license and possession of a nursing degree from an accredited nursing school (Bachelor's degree preferred)
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support
- Experience in Acute Care Hospital, Preferred
- American Heart Association ACLS within 6 months of hire
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) American Heart Association OR Emergency Nurse Association (ENPC) Required, or within six (6) months of hire
- Trauma Nurse Certification Course (TNCC) Emergency Nurse Association, Preferred
Department/Unit Summary:
Our community is growing and thriving. To better serve our communities' growth, SOVAH Danville Emergency Department is currently under a complete renovation to better serve our patients. The new Emergency Department will be a 31-bed unit with a 4:1 ratio for acute patients, with designated behavioral health safe rooms.
