About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to serve as a Charge Nurse on our Medical/Surgical/Telemetry unit at Sovah Health - Martinsville.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and guidance to the nursing team, ensuring high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment.
- Determine staffing levels and assignments based on patient acuity, census, and workflow.
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of patient care and identify areas for improvement.
- Respond to complaints about patient care and related services, managing through established channels.
Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Virginia.
- Previous experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.

- Verbal ability to present information and ideas related to nursing theory and practice.
