Summary
As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), you will play a vital role in supporting patients' rehabilitation and recovery under the supervision of licensed occupational therapists. Your core skills in physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology will be essential in assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) and developing care plans. Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) to promote independence and enhance quality of life.
- Implement and monitor care plans under the supervision of occupational therapists.
- Provide patient care in various settings, including inpatient, outpatient, and skilled nursing facilities.
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to support rehabilitation efforts.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care, including geriatrics and pediatrics.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 21 – 32 per week
