Title: Electrical Systems Engineer
Location: Alexis, IL
On-Site
Job Description:
Develop electrical system requirements in collaboration with cross-functional teams
Develop and release electrical system components in the Alexis Fire Equipment production system
Create, organize, and document bills of material for electrical systems on Fire Apparatus
Work with outside suppliers on component feasibility, development, and integration
Provide build support at various stages throughout the product development cycle
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or other relevant discipline
0-3 or more years of vehicle electrical system design, integration, or testing experience
Experience with electrical component development, wiring harnesses, schematics, and a good understanding of software/hardware interaction
Demonstrated experience managing project deliverables
Knowledge of general product development processes
Self-motivated with the ability to manage time effectively
Provide clear concise oral/written communication
Ability to work off-shift hours, as needed, to support production during builds

Work Environment:
Smaller shop. 50/50 office and floor, some days during heavy design periods we will be at 75/25.
