Job Summary:

Sozo is currently seeking enthusiastic, hard-working individuals to work at their new Marihuana Sales Location. The ideal candidate must have a passion for assisting patients/guests and work well with the team to reach monthly business goals at the marihuana sales location. This role requires the selling of and education of cannabis products and consumption mechanisms.

Job Responsibilities:

• Consistently deliver the Sozo brand experience and embody the values of the company, including a culture of compliance and excellent service
• Demonstrate proficiency in state/local laws/regulations related to marihuana sales locations
• Support patients/ guests on the cannabis products and consumption mechanisms from education to the sales transaction
• Educate patients/guests on general cannabis knowledge, compliance, and consumption/possession regulations
• Sell inventory/operate POS systems and METRC software used to track cannabis sales (METRC training is part of the onboarding process)
• Process patients/guests, including identification/age authentication, medical registry (where applicable), and file/record accordingly (where applicable)
• Replenish inventory accurately and as needed
• Provide knowledgeable customer service face to face, over the phone, and electronically
• Open and close the store accurately and on time based on Sozo policies and procedures
• Maintain accurate cash/inventory
• Maintain and exceed weekly and monthly business goals as set forth by the Marihuana Sales Location Manager and Corporate Staff
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail when working with patients /guests and inventory management

Requirements:

• Background in customer service and retail sales
• Marihuana sales location experience preferred, but not required
• Minimum of 21 years of age
• Possess valid driver’s license or state ID
• Must pass all background checks
• Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the cannabis industry.
• Strong communication skills
• Strong math skills
• Ability to use standard office equipment, computer software, and a quick understanding of the METRC tracking system
• Must be able to lift, carry, and balance up to 35 pounds (100 pounds with assistance). This job may require walking or standing for long periods of time along with lifting, bending over, and crouching
