- Manage all workflow coming into and out of the Engineering department.
- Act as a resource and subject matter expert for Quality, Operations, and Sales.
- Provide direction and oversight to technical support to solve complex electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical problems.
- Manage the time, activities, and quality of work for all direct employees.
- Lead new product development and R&D as directed.
- Bring new ideas and process improvements to the company and execute them in a sustainable manner.
- Provide resource and staff planning for your applicable areas.
- Act as a working manager when appropriate and as the workload requires.
- Create structure, systems, and processes to ensure consistency and quality of work.
- Strong communication skills required, both 'customer facing' and internal to your team and peers.
