EXCITING MEDICAL ASSISTANT POSITION NOW AVAILABLE!
We are seeking a Medical Assistant at our growing orthopedic practice. Previous orthopedic experience is a plus; but, we are willing to train the right candidate.
This is a busy, fast paced surgical practice that needs a high energy M.A. with a positive attitude. Understanding of the roles within several clinics, and the importance of teamwork, is vital. You will be rooming patients, taking vitals, working with providers and patients, etc.
Dependable transportation is a must, as you may work at different clinic sites as needed.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of MA program is preferred but not required
Experience working as a Medical Assistant or similar role
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
Familiarity with electronic health record systems (EHR)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a team environment as well as individually
