What are the responsibilities and job description for the OR Manager position at SP MANAGEMENT SERVICES INC?
Daily supervises all nursing and ancillary support personnel involved in Operating Room,
Endoscopy Room and Laser Room.Consults with Facility Administrator and/or Medical Director with regard to patient
medical problems. Communicates closely with Scheduling Coordinator regarding approved procedures.
Checks draft of each operating schedule in advance and makes necessary corrections. Works closely with the Facility Administrator to review and revise current facility policies and procedures. Interviews candidates for Operating Room, Endoscopy, Laser, Housekeeping and collaborates with Patient Care Committee to develop and monitor orientation policies
and procedures to provide competent staff.
