Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Transportation Specialist to join our team in Windsor Locks, CT. As a Shuttle Driver DOT, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers and operating shuttle buses in a professional manner.
Responsibilities:
- Operate shuttle buses safely and efficiently, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all passengers.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of bus interiors, fueling buses, and logging trip counts.
- Assist disabled passengers and provide directions to customers as needed.
- Perform regular vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues to the Facility Manager.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors, maintaining a safe and respectful work environment.
Requirements:
- Valid CDL Class A, B, or C Drivers License with Passenger Endorsement.
- DOT Medical Card required.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and stand for long periods.
- A clean driving record and a strong commitment to safety.
