Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced pet groomer who is passionate about breed-standard grooming, pet care, and delivering exceptional client service. The ideal candidate will have expertise in executing customized grooming styles based on client preferences and breed standards, with strong attention to detail and a focus on pet comfort and safety. Creative grooming techniques are highly valued, and experience with cat grooming is a plus. Excellent communication skills are essential for educating clients and ensuring their satisfaction. $300- 600 per day DOE and work ethic
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of grooming experience in a professional setting.
- Willingness to participate in continuing education to enhance grooming skills.
- Certifications such as NDGAA / AKC, ISCC, Pet CPR & First Aid, Fear Free Grooming are desirable but not required.
- Openness to learn new grooming clips, techniques, and industry processes.
- Ability to thrive in a drama-free, fast-paced salon environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Availability to work Saturdays.
Mobile Grooming Opportunity:
You will have the chance to work both in our salon and mobile grooming units. Mobile groomers must maintain a clean driving record.
Facility Details:
- Maintain cleanliness in work areas, including your grooming station.
- Spa 4 Paws upholds high standards of cleanliness throughout the facility.
- Amenities include clipper vacs at six of our seven stations, three bathing tubs (including one six-foot tub), bathing systems, drying stations, dog runs, kennel banks, receptionist, and bathers for support.

- Provide professional grooming services for pets, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
- Utilize animal handling and restraint techniques to manage pets during grooming.
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, adhering to hygiene standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their grooming needs and provide exceptional customer service.
- Monitor the health and behavior of pets, reporting any concerns to pet owners.
- Assist in educating clients about pet care and grooming best practices.
