Temporary Delivery & Warehouse Lead

Position : Delivery & Warehouse Lead

We're looking for a Delivery and Warehouse Manager to manage our delivery and warehouse operations for the CO Springs location. It requires being in the field and leading our 3-man delivery crew as well as overseeing the warehouse organization and operations with our warehouse coordinator.

Your core responsibility is to plan and prep for delivery of spas and / or other products, ensuring that they're delivered on-schedule and undamaged with a satisfied customer at the end. To be successful, you must have the ability to lead others, the stamina to perform the duties that require the strength (hot tubs are very heavy), and the personality and initiative to provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities :

• Manage the COS delivery crew, ensuring they have the information, tools and materials needed for deliveries. Assign duties and give direction to crew members and warehouse coordinator to ensure efficient and professional completion of jobs.
• Oversee and help with loading, unloading and placement of spas in warehouse, on trucks, and / or at customer's home. Enforce best practices and prevent damage and ensure job completion.
• Manage organization of COS warehouse. Initiate and enforce operational best practices and procedures, in collaboration with president, for storing, servicing, and / or prepping of tubs, materials, and vehicle fleet
• Collaborate with delivery coordinator to review and prep for placement of spa in customer's home. Brainstorm and / or problem solve for more complex install jobs. Proactively plan for potential issues, e.g., weather, tough terrain.
• Direct warehouse coordinator on spas and / or products to pull for upcoming jobs, in collaboration with delivery coordinator.
• Ensure all tools required for delivery and all supporting materials / accessories (e.g., covers, chemicals) are not forgotten. Give the customer run-down on basic functionality and maintenance for their spa.
• Drive to / from delivery sites (note driving duties should be shared with delivery crew).
• Oversee maintenance of vehicle fleet - trucks, forklifts, trailers. Keep maintenance logs up-to-date and ensure crews report problems and / or issues
• Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and schedule and / or perform general maintenance when necessary
