What are the responsibilities and job description for the Modeling and Simulation/Optical Engineer position at SPA?
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain a TS / SCI clearance
- BS, MS, or PhD in a relevant technical discipline such as Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Statistics
- 3 years of Relevant experience in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Data Science, Physics, Data Analytics, Software Engineering, and / or Statistical Analysis
- Overall understanding of mathematical analysis and predicative modeling
- Familiarity with basic software development
- Familiarity with GIT version control
- Competence with Python and C
- Familiarity with Unit Testing
Desired Skill :
Experience in optical engineering software such as FRED and / or Zemax
