Qualifications
Required :
- U.S. Citizen
- Active TS / SCI clearance / access or TS / SCI Eligible [NOTE : The System Acquisition Management Specialists located in the Colorado Springs, CO area require only an active Secret clearance]
- Earned Bachelors degree in a system acquisition-related discipline, e.g., Systems Engineering, System Development, or Project Management
- At least 10 years overall of relevant system acquisition experience, at least 3 years of which must have been performed in the DoD acquisition and operational environment

Responsibilities
We are seeking multiple candidates to fill the following positions at the Mid-Level (Journeyman) :
The Acquisition and Support Specialists shall have :
Extensive experience in contracting, legal, policy, and budget reviews, contracting, finance and compliance in the government (military and / or civil servant), federally funded research and development center, or profit / non-profit government support / development Contractor arena.
Experience with program management for ACAT-like weapon systems, in particular managing the planning, programming, budgeting, and execution of funds.
Deep knowledge in the fields of Space Force financial management.
Prior program management or finance experience.
Experience with building acquisition strategies and programmatic documentation.
Expertise in small, agile acquisitions with insight into lessons learned from large acquisitions.
Experience working with contractual efforts designed to address fulfilling near-term requirements.
History of working with space and / or software related acquisitions.
Understanding of acquisition processes and how to apply them for successful program management.
Knowledge in DoD acquisition and financial systems.
Knowledge in various DoD contract strategies and vehicles anding understand their applications to meet rapid acquisition timelines.
Experience developing and executing acquisition strategy plans.
Experience developing and managing programmatic schedules (Integrated Master Schedules).
Experience developing acquisition documentation to meet higher-level requirements.
Experience in acquisition and programmatic risk management.
Experience establishing product support strategies that align with acquisition strategies and identifying required infrastructures, processes, and procedures to maintain system capabilities.
Experience integrating system engineering quantitative design characteristics (reliability, maintainability, etc.) with the functional logistics / integrated product support elements to identify product support resources.
Experience integrating the 12 product support elements, procurement and budgeting strategy into logistics activities needed to sustain system fielding.
