VP, Product Marketing Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive product marketing strategies to drive awareness, adoption, and growth of our financial products and services.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights to identify market opportunities and inform product positioning.
- Define product messaging, value propositions, and go-to-market strategies for new product launches and existing offerings.
- Collaborate with brand marketing, sales, and other stakeholders to align marketing strategies with business objectives.
- Lead end-to-end product launch initiatives, from ideation to executing multi-channel marketing campaigns.
- Create compelling marketing collateral, sales enablement materials, and product documentation to support sales teams.
- Monitor campaign performance, analyze results, and iterate strategies for continuous improvement.
- Develop and manage the product marketing budget, allocating resources effectively to achieve desired outcomes. Ensure cost-effective strategies and initiatives while maximizing ROI on marketing spend.
VP, Product Marketing Qualifications
- 12-15 years relevant credit union or banking experience in Marketing required. Experience in product marketing/product management within the financial services industry, with a deep understanding of banking, investments, lending, or related areas.
- Bachelor’s Degree required preferably in Marketing/Advertising/Media or equivalent experience.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful product marketing strategies, including product launches and go-to-market campaigns.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, market research, and customer insights to drive decision-making.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to drive business growth through innovative marketing initiatives.
- Experience working with compliance, legal, and regulatory requirements within the financial industry.
