Full-Time Dietary Aide

Facility : Bedrock Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at Island

Location : Merritt Island, Florida

Pay Range : $13.25 hour

Bedrock Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at Island is seeking motivated and detail-oriented Dietary Aides to join our team. This role offers a supportive environment where your contributions make a difference in residents' lives.

Position Overview

Shifts : Full-time and Part Time, Day and Evening Shifts
Schedule : 6am-2 : 30pm and 11 : 30am-7 : 00pm Shifts, Alternating Weekends, Holidays.

Key Responsibilities

Portion and serve meals according to dietary guidelines.

Deliver trays and carts to resident floors and dining rooms.

Work on tray line and assist in the dish room and pot sink.

Perform cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and disposing of trash and recyclables.

Set up resident meal trays per specified dietary requirements.

Collect and break down meal trays, sanitizing work areas after each meal.

Assist with food preparation for special meals and events.

Follow sanitary regulations and facility policies to maintain food safety.

Ensure the cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas and equipment.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Dietary Aide or in a similar food service role.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
