We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on building systems, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues using schematics and diagnostic tools.
- Conduct painting tasks as needed to maintain aesthetic standards.
- Operate and maintain logic controllers to ensure optimal performance of automated systems.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff or tenants.
- Lead small teams on specific projects or repairs, demonstrating effective leadership skills.
- Use an ohmmeter and other tools to diagnose electrical problems and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in maintenance or a related field with a focus on mechanical knowledge.
- Familiarity with painting techniques is preferred but not required.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and troubleshooting methods.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics for various building systems.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on communication and teamwork.
- Experience using CMMS is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Leadership experience is a plus, particularly in managing small teams or projects.
