Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, focusing on individuals with developmental disabilities and those residing in nursing home settings. The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and managing patient health issues while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments and physical examinations of patients.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory work and vital signs monitoring.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Manage pain management protocols
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate care for patients with developmental disabilities.
- Ensure adherence to clinical standards and best practices in sterile processing and emergency medicine.
- CMaintain accurate medical records using electronic health record systems.
- Provide patient education regarding health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing or equivalent from an accredited program.
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Florida.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Familiarity with nursing home environments is a plus.
- Proficient in performing vital signs assessments and understanding laboratory results.
- Knowledge of pain management techniques.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $117,459.00 - $124,220.00 per year
