This role requires an active DoD Secret security clearance and the ability to obtain a TS/SCI within one year from date of hire. The selected applicants will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for accessing classified information.
The position involves designing, developing, and implementing secure networking, computing, and enclave environments, leveraging IA policy, procedures, and workforce structure.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support the Government in enforcing design and implementation of trusted relationships among external systems and architectures
- Contribute to security planning, assessment, risk analysis, risk management, certification, and awareness activities for system and network operations
- Assist architects and systems developers in identifying and implementing appropriate information security functionality
- Recommend system-level solutions to resolve security requirements
- Interact with customers and project team members
- Support the Government in enforcing design and implementation of trusted relationships among external systems and architectures
- Assist in system or network designs that encompass multiple enclaves, including those with differing data protection/classification requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university
- Four years of ISSE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of IA policy, procedures, and workforce structure
- STE/STN metrics and reporting systems eMASS, XACTA, and JIRA
- Experience with configuring routers, firewalls, and other network appliances
- Computer operating system experience with LINUX-based and Windows-based platforms
