SSI is seeking a Ground Infrastructure Execution Lead to support our customer in Chantilly, VA. The Ground Infrastructure Execution Lead will support the Space Development Agency's (SDA) mission.

SSI is seeking a Ground Infrastructure Execution Lead to support our customer in Chantilly, VA. The Ground Infrastructure Execution Lead will support the Space Development Agency's (SDA) mission.
Responsibilities include:
- Responsible for ensuring all Ground Segment terrestrial communication elements transition to operations successfully and check properly with mission operations according to plans. Elements include Ground Entry Points (GEPs), Optical Communications Terminals (OCTs), network connections, and associated hardware/software components
- Maintain active awareness of baseline requirements, interfaces, and integration touchpoints to ensure the system progresses through all milestones and the Tranches achieve operations, transition, and system closure
- Support all coordination and troubleshooting to ensure the Ground Segment transitions to operations physically and virtually
- Ensure all documentation, infrastructure, operational environments, workstations, licensing, and displays are appropriately configured and running as designed
- Work closely with mission operations to support CONOPS execution across Doctrine, Organization, Training, Materiel, Leadership, Personnel, Facilities and Policy (DOTMLPF-P)
- Provide expertise across the entire Systems Engineering cycle. Applies problem solving skills to identify and respond to system gaps proactively
- Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM)
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience with satellite and ground systems
- Technical and analytic understanding of satellite and ground system interaction
- Strong experience in requirements development and tracking
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment with excellent oral and written communication skills
- TS Clearance required. Must be able to obtain/maintain SC
- Master’s degree in STEM or related discipline
- 15 years’ experience with satellite and ground systems
